About me...
I am an upcoming GRADUATING SENIOR!!!!! I am majoring in Nursing and minoring in Entrepreneurship here at the University of Cincinnati. I aspire to be a Nurse Practitioner one day, with the hopes of owning my own practice. Originally, I wanted to be a nurse midwife, but after my trip to the Dominican Republic with the college of nursing in January 2016, my focus may change. In my lifetime, I want to reach out to as many people as I can and help them, which is one of the main reasons I'm going into nursing.
A Dayton native, I graduated from Chaminade Julienne Catholic School. I am the third child out of four. I have an older brother and sister, and one younger brother. My sister and I are a year and a day apart. When I was younger, I would always say that I was her day late birthday present (haha). My parents are from Guyana, which is the only English-speaking country in South America.
I am very blessed and proud to be able to call myself a Darwin T. Turner Scholar, Cincinnatus Scholar, and a University Honors Member. Next school year, I will be the President for Student Body of Christ (SBOC) and on the e-board for Cincinnati Youth 4 Christ (CY4C). In addition, I am a general body member of AMBITION.
I value community service and I think it is extremely important to give back to the community and help those who are less fortunate than I am. Every time I volunteer, I feel better knowing that I have done something to give back to the community. I love feeling like I have touched someone else in a positive manner.

Psalm 24:3-4 KJV Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
